When a shelf doesn’t hold!

The shirt that started it all!

The shirt that started it all!

After feeding Greggory his breakfast noticed he got some jelly on his shirt.  Which is bummer because it fit his attitude this morning.  I took the shirt off  and went into the laundry to get the spray and wash.  Well I grabbed the new bottle of Spray and Wash and it is still attached to the refill container as well, the shelf gave way.

Everything that was on the shelf feel down on top of the washer & dryer as well as on the floor.  Some of the contents were some of Brett’s homebrewed IPA he was saving.  Well he doesn’t have much left now 5 bottles out 11 I think is saved, 2 bottles broke at least and some lost some beer through the cap.  I saved the ones that leaked out the cap and is 3/4 full still but that is only 2 but he does have 5 unharmed.  So now our laundry room smells like beer.

Beside loosing some beer we lost some vinegar and some laundry detergent but nothing to worry about running out.  It is mostly cleaned up but when Brett gets home from work we have to pull out the washer & dryer out to wash underneath them.  So much fun!  I am thanking the Lord that nobody was hurt in this because it would have been bad.

I guess Brett will have to build another shelf that is stronger this time.
